The @TellusGSI Twitter account is managed by the staff and contractors of the Tellus Project of the Geological Survey of Ireland. Tweets will cover Tellus developments and related information. If you follow us, you can expect tweets covering some or all of the following:
- News and features on survey operations
- Press releases on project activities
- Event information and occasional live coverage of events
- Alerts about new content on our website, data releases and report publication
Retweets may be used to highlight relevant appropriate announcements, particularly those by other government bodies or global geological surveys. Retweeting not does not imply endorsement of any kind.
Normally our Twitter account will be updated and monitored during office hours, Monday to Friday.
We welcome and will read all @ messages. However in general, due to resource constraints, we cannot guarantee an individual reply to all messages.
@TellusSurveys will not be obliged to follow any of our followers. If we do follow a Twitter account, it does not imply endorsement of any kind.
Sending a message via Twitter will not be considered as contacting Tellus for official purposes and we will not be obliged to monitor or respond to requests for information through the Twitter channel. Instead, we may be contacted directly at email@example.com or on Freephone 1800 303 516.
Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.
